The Electrolytic Organic Destruction (EOD) process involves the direct and indirect oxidation of organic or inorganic
compounds in aqueous solutions using catalytic electrodes. The process can be used for BOD and COD removal in
water and wastewater, or for the elimination of specific organic compounds. EOD can be effective where the organic
compounds in the water are not readily treatable by biological systems, for example bio refractory compounds.
The technology was developed and patented by De Nora Tech, a world leader in electrochemistry and is licensed from
