• Reduces the formation of disinfection by products (DBP) such as TTHM and HAA5
• Does not require the on-site storage of other chemicals with the associated hazards and costs.
• Oxidation of organic impurities with the reduction of BOD and COD
• Hydrogen Sulfide Removal
• Ozonation can reduce the chemicals needed for flocculation or flotation by 20-50% while improving filter performance due to micro flocculation effect
• Reduces turbidity and dissolved organic carbon by enhancing aerobic digestion in biologically active filters
• Remove synthetic micro pollutants found in surface and ground water.
